This website was created as a place to list historic and memorial plaques as well as monuments and historic markers and signs.
The main inspiration for the website was when discovering some of these plaques hidden away that most people may not even notice and considering the historical significance of some of these neglected sites it seemed like a good idea to create a list and help people find and be aware of them.
The List will mostly be of Auckland as this is where I am based, but will hope to eventually include the rest of New Zealand and maybe even the world.
